Aerial Yoga is traditional yoga enhanced with a prop called a swing or a hammock. The swing allows you to defy gravity by doing a variety of inversions easily and effortlessly. It also allows you to hold postures longer and incorporate more challenging postures increasing flexibility, agility and overall body awareness without compressing the neck and back.
Ascension Aerial Yoga also allows decompression of tight joints and aligns the vertebrae of the spine while increasing overall health and physical agility.
It is appropriate for all fitness levels. Size, shape, or age is no longer an excuse or obstacle. Most people are surprised to learn they can achieve the majority of postures in their very first class, leaving them energized and excited for more!

Students are offered assistance and extra time in transitioning from one posture to the next.
